Due to the fact that we are not currently Registered Dietitians (one day) and still in school, nutritional guidance will only be done within the scope of practice of personal trainers and certified nutritionists. If we believe you may need additional guidance, a referral to your primary doctor or to a dietitian. We do discourage anyone purchasing meal plans from personal trainers as they do not have the same education as dietitians. Trainers may, however, provide nutritional advice about what foods to eat for weight loss, gain, or performance. Any advice that can be categorized as nutritional therapy such as for diseases, illnesses, or specific conditions, is out of the scope of practice for personal trainers.
